Schedule Parent Teacher Conferences Next Week!

Good afternoon,
This is Flanagan Cornell Unit 74 superintendent Dr. Ryan Hansen. Due to the frigid temperatures and wind chills forecasted for Tuesday, January 21st, all district students will have an e-learning day. Teachers will provide materials online via Google Classroom or physical materials placed in student’s backpacks. Again, Tuesday, January 21st, all district students will have an e-learning day due to forecasted low temperatures. All before and after school activities are also cancelled.
Thank you and stay warm.

The grade school had its monthly Falcon Cup game day on January 17th. The kids got a chance to play Heads, Shoulder, Knee, and Cone. The competition was fierce but Xavier came away with the win for The House of Positivity. The others in the top 5 were Tristan, Delaney, Rhys, and Aubrey.
Way to go Falcons!

The Sweetest Way to Support FCHS Post Prom . . . order a bundt cake!

Mrs. Harms's fourth graders celebrated the start of the new year and a new semester today with mini-cinnamon rolls, a reading about the history of the Times Square Ball, an MnM Word find race, class goal setting, "glad to be back" writing, horn blowing, and reflecting on all we've learned. It was a great first day back. 🎉

The high school is once again hosting a "Class Registration Open House" on February 6th during Parent-Teacher Conferences. We encourage all incoming freshmen, their families, and current students to attend to see what classes our school offers as you create your schedule for next year! Come check it out and then cheer on the girls' basketball team on Senior Night!
