Flanagan-Cornell High School is proud to offer future planning events for all high school students during Flex. These events (presentations, activities, workshops, & more) are designed to help students learn about & explore options for the future. Check out what is happening in this month & encourage your student to attend!
The Flanagan-Cornell Unit District 74 Board of Education is conducting a search for a
new superintendent. The selection of a new superintendent is probably the most
important decision a board of education has to make; therefore, the Board has hired the
Illinois Association of School Boards (IASB) to assist in this process.
The Board of Education is seeking everyone’s input in the search process. The Board
requests that all board members, all staff, all parents and community members complete
an online survey provided by the IASB. The results will be tallied and used by the Board
and Screening Team to develop a brochure to advertise the position. All survey responses
and comments will remain anonymous.

What better way to learn about color theory and the color wheel than creating one yourself?! Students in horticulture used frosting to create a color wheel and understand how colors are mixed as part of their floral design unit! Friday fun in Ag!
The Spanish 3 students made s'more empanadas today! What a delicious treat to end unit 1!
