What an amazing 2025–2026 school year at Flanagan Grade School! Throughout the year, our houses showed incredible cooperation, teamwork, sportsmanship, and PRIDE while competing in house competitions and earning points all year long. 🏆🦅
Today marked the FINAL day of competition with an exciting K–7 Field Day filled with fun, laughter, and Falcon PRIDE! Students battled it out in:

Last week, every grade school class (K-8), helped plant the school garden with the help of local Master Gardeners, led by Cathy Montgomery. Students planted flowers in the ground and in pots, and planted vegetables in different beds. Every single student planted a marigold too. The junior high students also helped with putting mulch around the garden. A big thank you to the high school ag students for helping and a BIGGER thank you to Mrs. Montgomery for all the planning and preparation that goes into the garden!
Last Monday the seniors went on a trip to Aurora to Top Golf, the outlet mall, and Slick City! It was a great way to end the year with a great group of students!

These students earned their spot by showing Falcon PRIDE in all settings, being nominated for or winning Student of the Month, and/or earning all A’s and B’s while maintaining positive behavior with no detentions or classroom behavior concerns.
👏 A huge shoutout to the 137 students who met the requirements this semester! Your hard work, positive attitudes, leadership, and responsibility do not go unnoticed.

Thank you to Livingston County Coroner, Mr. Mike Renner, who came and spoke to the forensics class about the coroner profession!
Mrs. Harms and the Fourth Graders went to Mackinson Dairy Farm to see the cow they "adopted" from the St.
Louis Dairy Council's Adopt-A-Cow program. We got to tour the farm, ask questions, see our cow, the calves, the milking parlor, and the friendly farm dogs! We were also treated to Prairie Farms ice cream and new pencils! Thank you to the Mackinson family, especially our tour guide Ava! It has been fun to follow the growth of our calf while we learned about dairy this year! 🐄🍦
