During their library time, students grabbed a book and found fun and unique places around the library to read together or with their junior high buddies.
Way to celebrate the joy of reading, Falcons! 📖

Fourth grade students learned about Chinese culture and traditions while reading George Selden's book "The Cricket in Times Square." We learned about the Chinese, or Lunar, New Year, the moon phases, and zodiac signs. We learned why some think crickets are good luck and learned the life cycle of a cricket. Today, students received red envelopes from Mrs. Harms and enjoyed tasting Chinese food with chopsticks. 🌙🦗🥢 Reading really takes you places! 📚
