Today was the 1st Quarter Incentive Activity for high school students. Students had to have no missing assignments, no unexcused absences, no behavior referrals, and no D's or F's to attend. Students participated in a pickleball tournament and enjoyed some snacks! Congrats to Josie and Lani for being the Pickleball Champs!

Our Falcons were fired up today for another round of friendly competition! Teams went head-to-head in the Hula Hut Challenge, racing to build, crawl, and conquer their way to victory. It was a tough one — but every team showed amazing teamwork, perseverance, and Falcon PRIDE from start to finish! 💪🔥

Yesterday our FFA members hosted a Mini Ag Expo for all Kindergarten through 4th grade students! Students participated in 8 different stations including Corn Jeopardy, Oink-O, Leaf Impressions, Pumpkin life cycle bracelets, a tour of the greenhouse, Cattle Byproducts, Water Jeopardy, and getting to get into a combine. It was a great morning and we are very proud of our FFA members that planned and executed the activity and hope the elementary students learned a little more about agriculture! We hope this becomes a yearly event!

The FCHS Student Council was awarded the Back to School Culture Builder award from Jostens! They participated in Jostens' School Culture Challenge of High-Five Friday. Way to go, falcons!
Ms. Barton's biology class participated in an activity called cell organelle speed dating. Students researched an organelle and taught their classmates information on their organelle through rounds of "dating".

Starting Monday morning, the west side of the road near the tennis courts, along with the adjacent parking spaces on the west side of the building, will be temporarily closed. Caution tape and roadblocks will be in place to secure the area as we begin removing the fencing and blacktop from the tennis courts in preparation for the upcoming spring Ag building project. Once this phase is complete, we will reopen the drive and parking spaces for regular use.
