Last week, students in Advanced Horticulture created floral arrangements for the March subscriptions. They demonstrated their skills of implementing balance and proportion to create a centerpiece. The arrangements turned out beautifully and were the perfect way to kick off spring!

Today we had a clap out to wish 4 of our FFA members good luck before they compete at State Proficiency Awards tomorrow! Our FC#74 Music teacher Ms. Kegg accompanied several of our high school students to participate in the HOIC Dr. Charles Snook Music Festival in February. Students from around the Heart of Illinois Conference came together for this musical collaboration, and gave an evening concert performance for the public. This annual festival is dedicated to, and in memory of Dr. Charles Snook who was the long time high school Principal here at Flanagan. Students who participated this year were Piper McMillan, Emma Jenkins, Brookelyn Miles, Claire Schneider, Clayton Thorson, Kal Dodge and Joe Prickett. 🎵
