Reminder as the weather gets cooler.

Check out this upcoming trio of college information classes in the "Your Student’s Future" series at Heartland Community College for parents and guardians.
The three classes cover the search and timeline for finding the best college for a student's needs, help for transitioning students into college, and finding out how to pay for it all. Plus, if parents/guardians sign up for all three, there is a discount of $10 off each course.
The classes are:
College Search 101: Find the best school to fit your student's passions and the timeline to make the informed decision.
College Transition 101: Discover how to enhance your student's adjustment to college.
Paying for College 101: Navigate the maze of financial aid.

Students in Horticulture took advantage of the beautiful weather and did a leaf anatomy bingo to find leaves that they have been learning about in class! Do you know the difference between simple and compound leaves?

Mrs. Donovan’s students getting some fresh air at the diabetes walk.

Out on the track today soaking up some sunshine and raising awareness for diabetes! This is over 20 years Mrs Gordon has been leading “the walk”!

The FCHS Volleyball team handed the FCHS Staffulty a loss in a Volley for the Cure Fundraiser game in early October, but we raised $63 to add to their event total.

Senior class won the first cookout with Mr. Hansen! Three more quarters = three more chances for either the freshmen, sophomore, or junior classes to represent!

Know what “loess” is? Our FFA students do! We wish them good luck at the state Soil Judging competition.

At the girl’s last volleyball game I thanked the student section for coming out and representing falcon pride BUT the same is true for all of our fans. Thank you Flanagan and Cornell communities for cheering on our amazing athletes!
