Students in Advanced Horticulture have been working on an extended project of constructing a hydroponic system and then growing Swiss chard in their system. Originally it got off to a slow start but students were able to harvest their crop last week and even tried their hand at preparing it and tasting it as none of them had ever had it before. It’s been an amazing learning opportunity for them and now they hope to expand their crops!
