Students have to earn a chance to participate in Fun Friday once a month in Mrs. Hernandez and Mrs. Estes's class. This month the students got to go grocery shopping and made some Thanksgiving side dishes!

Congratulations to Mr. Mark Harms, Flanagan Cornell Unit 74 Board President, on his election to IASB President. The Flanagan Cornell school board has had a strong presence in this state organization for many decades and we are proud that this will continue under Mr. Harm's leadership.
The fourth graders continued their "Soil Your Undies" activity with Mrs. Chipman and the FFA students by digging up the second pair of underwear that we buried at the beginning of the year. This pair was definitely more "soiled" after 2 months! The FFA class also taught us about the life cycle of a pumpkin during our Ag in the classroom lesson! We love our Ag lessons!
