One of our students' favorite days of the year, the PETTING ZOO! Of course the highlight were the baby chicks, but there was also sheep, goats, a baby calf, piglets, a miniature pony, a turkey, chickens, and a rabbit. Thanks so much to all the families that provided animals for our students to enjoy!

Students in Advanced Horticulture are joining in on the floral design fun too for Valentine's Day! They had to create their own arrangements after looking online for inspiration. Then they will also have to determine the cost of the arrangement and what they would charge if they worked in a floral shop!
Students in Horticulture have been busy learning different aspects of floral design just in time for Valentine's Day. They created fresh flower arrangements for the holiday as well as made Hershey Kiss roses. They don't want this unit to end!
The Flanagan American Legion Auxiliary is planning to send care packages to FCHS graduates who are currently serving in the military. Please email Mr. Smith at bsmith@fc74.org with the name and address for any active duty member by March 1.
Today was our last morning of Youth Ball. We loved seeing so many kids in the gym learning more about the game. Our 3rd & 4th grade teams will play this Tues, Feb. 13th at halftime of the JV Boys Game (Celtics vs Bulls) & halftime of the Varsity Boys Game (Mavericks vs Warriors).
The 8th Grade Science Class-Famous Scientist Project
The high school will again host a "Class Registration Open House" next Thursday during Parent-Teacher Conferences. We encourage all incoming freshmen and their families and current students to attend to see what classes our school offers as you create your schedule for next year! Come check it out and head to the last home boys' basketball game afterward!
