Last week students in Ag Business pitched business plans to a panel of investors as their last project for the class. This has been a year long project where students decided on a business idea, created financials, did a SWOT analysis, assessed potential risks, and collected market data to support their business. All groups did a great job! A big thank you to Mrs. Stanley, Jeremy Durdan, and Miranda Bertsche for serving as the "panel of investors".
Miss Guerrero's class spent a beautiful day at Wild Life Prairie Park seeing lots of animals and taking train rides!
FCHS Prom Court 2025
The Third grade class enjoyed their field trip. They went to the Funk Prairie Home and Rock and Gem Museum. The class saw old farming equipment, many rocks, gems, fossils, and Indian artifacts. A visit to the ISU Planetarium ended their day. The Third graders had a wonderful day of Science.

The school greenhouse opens tomorrow! It is located between the playground and bus garage. We have all kinds of hanging baskets, flowers, and veggies!
Mrs. Carls took her Math Essentials class to Menards at the end of their real world house building dimensions and calculation project. Students had to locate and calculate required materials and costs needed to complete their floor plans.

The fourth graders visited Mackinson Dairy Farm to visit their calf from the Adopt-a-Calf program they participated in with the St. Louis Dairy Council. Farmer Mackinson and his family gave us a tour of the dairy operation, showed us the show barn, and then we ended with a treat of Prairie Farms ice cream bars. THANK YOU to the Mackinsons for everything! Support farmers and buy Prairie Farms! 🥛🐄
