Good Morning,
This is Flanagan Cornell Unit 74 superintendent Dr. Ryan Hansen.
For the morning of August 23rd.
Due to the increasing temperature and humidity levels in the building, paired with the National Weather Service’s multiple heat warnings and advisories, the school district will be dismissing students early at 10 am. Students' bus and pick up procedures will remain the same. If you wish your child to follow an alternative transportation or pick up procedure please contact either school building office. Students will also be given a sack lunch to take home if they wish.
High School volleyball game tonight, Flanagan Cornell vs. Woodland, has been cancelled.
Junior high softball and baseball practices and games have been cancelled for today, Wednesday, and Thursday.

The PRIDE Committee is looking for families or local businesses willing to donate prizes for our staffulty and students. Gift cards, coupons, trinkets, etc (max $10 value) would be greatly appreciated. Deliver items to either school office (Attn: PRIDE). Thank you in advance!

Come visit the ROE #17 Substitute Teacher Sign Up Days August 30th from 1:00-3:00 at the Pontiac Eagle Theater for a one-stop shop process to complete all of the paperwork to become a substitute teacher!

Flanagan Grade School and Flanagan-Cornell High School will dismiss at 1:30 pm August 16 through September 5. Starting September 6, FGS students will dismiss at 2:58 pm and FCHS students will get out at 3:03 pm.
