We had an intense pickleball tournament today in the high school! Students had to earn the incentive to come by keeping good grades, have no missing assignments, and no unexcused absences or behavior referrals. We had 28 students participate in the event! Congratulations to Logan and Connor for winning the championship and Seth and Kaylee for being 2nd!

Students in Ag Business have been learning about Dinner Etiquette and had to put their skills to the test today by having their own Etiquette Dinner. Students each had to bring in a component of the meal, set their place setting, and then eat using proper manners and use appropriate table conversation!

Congratulations to fourth grader Avery Martin! She placed third in a postcard design contest, sponsored by Livingston County Soil and Water Conservation District! Debbie Ruff, the SWCD Rep, stopped by today to present the certificate and a WalMart gift card. All of our fourth graders made wonderful designs with the help of Mrs. Krischel during Art class. The theme was "Awesome Agriculture." Way to go, Avery!

Last week our Basic Horticulture classes had the opportunity to tour Jones Country Gardens. One group even had a special tour guide, our very own student Seth Jones, who is the 3rd generation working at Jones Country Gardens! Our students learned about the history of their business and how plants start and what they go through before they are sold. We are so fortunate to have local businesses who open their doors to provide opportunities for our students!
