Ethan and Jacob participated in Seniors Interviews at LACC this week. Great job!

Today students in the Ag Business class were able to go to Graymont Coop, where their general manager, Matt Jacobs gave them a tour of the facility as well as talked about grain marketing. Students were able to learn about how local farmers market their grain and where it the coop sells it afterwards. Thanks so much to Matt and Graymont Coop for their continued support of our Ag Department!

Ms. Wykes is hosting a Scrabble Tournament in 8th Grade Language Arts. Looks like everyone is having fun as they put their spelling and vocab skills to the test!

The fourth grade students were visited by Sara Attig, a U of I Extension Program Coordinator for 4-H Youth Development. She brought in a cool surprise: butterfly larva! 🐛 We will observe and study these caterpillars as they journey toward becoming Painted Lady butterflies. Then we will set them free. Sara also brought us many books to enjoy and taught us a lesson about butterflies! We are EXCITED! 🦋🦋

Our students enjoyed Candace Fleming, an Illinois author, yesterday. They really impressed her! She thought they were a great audience. I was very proud of the way our students represented our school!!

It's almost time for Prom!
