
Both Intro to Ag classes learned how to tie a tie along with what official dress looks like. Tying a tie is important for official dress, but also a great skill to have. Everyone did a great job helping others out and having fun while learning!










5th grade Ag has been learning about harvesting and grain crops for the past two weeks! Carter Vissering shared his own harvesting experience by making videos explaining the harvesting experience. He made 15 videos from the combine harvesting to the ticket off the scale after unloading. He presented his videos to his class and answered questions. We took a break from learning about field corn to learn about popcorn and of course we had to have a snack while doing so!





Students in Horticulture have been learning about plant anatomy and the internal and external structures of the different parts. They were able to see the inside of different stems during this lab and tell the difference between dicot and monocot plants! Science is cool!

The 4th grade classes enjoyed a beautiful and educational day at the Ag Expo at the 4H Park in Pontiac. They took part in many activity stations as they learned about various agriculture topics. Thank you to the Livingston County Soil and Water Conservation District for putting this on each year! 🌱🌳🐄

The Lady Falcons annual volley for the cure event is tonight! Freshman start at 5pm, JV at 6pm and varsity at 7pm approximately. Breast cancer survivors get in free.

Intro to Ag class took a fun break from learning everything FFA to decorate sugar cookies to represent the different parts of the FFA emblem!











5th grade Agriculture finished their pumpkin unit by dissecting a pumpkin and then painting it. They learned about the pumpkin life cycle, pumpkin history, and pumpkin parts.











The Peoria Illinois Air National Guard team has once again partnered with Congressman Darin LaHood’s office to host a Service Academy Night.
