It's College & Career week at FCHS! Friday was ISAC Day.

Both Intro to Ag classes learned how to tie a tie along with what official dress looks like. Tying a tie is important for official dress, but also a great skill to have. Everyone did a great job helping others out and having fun while learning!

5th grade Ag has been learning about harvesting and grain crops for the past two weeks! Carter Vissering shared his own harvesting experience by making videos explaining the harvesting experience. He made 15 videos from the combine harvesting to the ticket off the scale after unloading. He presented his videos to his class and answered questions. We took a break from learning about field corn to learn about popcorn and of course we had to have a snack while doing so!

Students in Horticulture have been learning about plant anatomy and the internal and external structures of the different parts. They were able to see the inside of different stems during this lab and tell the difference between dicot and monocot plants! Science is cool!
